“Quick friendly service”

“I booked my car in for a service in November. New back tyres recommended which had to be ordered. I returned in December to have the tyres fitted – now I'm told the front tyres need fitting! I booked a third appointment three weeks in advance with the tyres on order. When I turn up my tyres had been sold that morning to another customer. No apology – it was 'the system's fault. Inferior tyres fitted (I didn't want to have come back again) and then I'm told further work (brake pads) now recommended. I understand that over time there is wear and tear to the car but when I serviced the car with the dealer it was one service per year and none of this faffing. And frankly there is one particular member of staff (don't know his name) who is just rude. Although very convenient to where I live, I won't be back.”

“Whilst I was happy with the online MOT price and service provided.

When I asked for the cars tracking to be checked and a price i was quoted £35 per adjustment by the store manager. I quickly checked the website as I remember it being cheaper (£29). I then showed this to the manager and he said he can match that price, which he did.

However, I was not happy with the store manager trying to overcharge for the tracking. Maybe to recover the discount i received on the MOT price.

I asked for an alignment check as I was having four new tyres. They checked and discovered the tracking was out and they corrected it. The overall cost of the four tyres and alignment correction was well within my budget. A very pleasing customer service.”
